SMU forward Papa Dia had 22 points and 15 rebounds as the Mustangs lost to Rice in the Conference USA tournament.
Dia was a one-man team for long stretches of the 2010-11 season. He averaged 18.9 points and 9.2 rebounds. At 6-foot-9, 235 pounds, it will be interesting to see what the next step is in his basketball career.
