Southeastern Louisiana guard Brandon Fortenberry scored a career-high 30 points to lead the Lions past Northwestern State. He added nine assists and was 12-for-13 from the line.
Fortenberry has been on a sweet run of late. He has scored at least 19 points and provided at least six assists in four of his last five games. The junior may have the show to himself next year after Trent Hutchin moves on.
