New Mexico forward Drew Gordon had 21 points and 14 rebounds, but the Lobos were eliminated from the NCAA tournament by Louisville. He shot 8-for-15 from the floor.
Gordon went down with what looked like a serious knee injury toward the end of the first half but returned and played well. The 6-foot-9 senior finished the season with 19 double-doubles. He will will now move onto the NBA and scouts have to love his two-game tournament totals of 39 points and 27 rebounds. He projects as a second-round pick.
