Former Connecticut center Alex Oriakhi will join Missouri in 2012-13. The Huskies are headed to probation and Oriakhi has one season of eligibility left.
The team has plenty of guards with Phil Pressey, Michael Dixon, Keion Bell, and Jabari Brown, but once again would be limited in the frontcourt. Oriakhi is not as good on the pick and roll as Ricardo Ratliffe, but should give the Tigers quality low post defense. Laurence Bowers, who tore his ACL, should be back next season as well.
