Marist guard Sam Prescott scored a career-high 34 points, including five three-pointers, in a loss to Iona. He was 11-for-19 from the field and made seven successful trips to the line.
Prescott is a 6-foot-2 sophomore who was limited to 18 games because of academic issues as a freshman. The Red Foxes have only won three times this season and Prescott is their leading scorer at 11.8 points. His previous high was 20 points set on Jan. 7 against Fairfield.
