Brown freshman guard Sean McGonagill scored a career-high 39 points in a win over Columbia. The 6-foot-1 Brookfield, IL native played all 40 minutes, was 15-for-19 from the field, and had six assists.
McGonagill's previous high was 18, so this was obviously an exceptional game in which the Lions had no answer for the freshman. He is leading the Bears in assists (4.9) and could be a good guy to get for next year.
