Villanova freshman JayVaughn Pinkston scored 17 points and grabbed five rebounds in a close loss to Marquette yesterday. Pinkston was one of five Wildcats to score in double figures.
Pinkston got off to a slow start in non-conference play, but he has picked it up in conference. He is averaging 12.1 points and 6.1 rebounds in Big East play.
