BYU forward Brandon Davies, who was suspended from the team for an honor code violation, is working with the dean of students so that he will can return to school and be eligible to play for the Cougars in the fall.
Davies anchored the BYU interior as a sophomore with 11.1 points and 6.9 rebounds. The Cougars will not only be without Jimmer Fredette, but also Jackson Emery (who, like Fredette, was a senior) and freshman Kyle Collinsworth, who is going on a Mormon mission. Davies, if eligible, could be an All-WCC player.
