Erik Murphy settles court case

News:

Florida forward Erik Murphy's court case has been settled. Murphy along with teammate Cody Larson was arrested for trying to break into a car last April. Murphy must perform 50 hours of community service and is not allowed to consume alcohol for a year.

Fantasy Impact:

This could be a good thing for Murphy, who stands to get a lot more playing time in 2011-12. The 6-foot-10 junior averaged 4.3 points and 2.3 rebounds in 10.8 minutes last year off the Gator bench. Chandler Parsons, Alex Tyus, and Vernon Macklin have all moved on, so there are plenty of available minutes for Murphy to slide into the starting lineup next to Patric Young
