Washington State forward Brock Motum erupted for a career-high 34 points (20 in the second half) and eight rebounds in the loss to Arizona State. He shot 13-for-19 from the floor.
Motum had to carry the load with Faisal Aden out with an injury but it wasn't enough to get them the victory. He has enjoyed a stellar junior campaign averaging 16.4 points and 6.5 rebounds and should be one of the top forwards in the conference again next season.
