Florida guard Erving Walker had ten points and a season-high nine assists as the Gators went to Mississippi and won. Kenny Boynton, Jr. hit a pair of big three-pointers down the stretch to give the Gators the lead.
The Rebels tried to trap Florida, but the speedy Walker was able to break the press fairly easily and set up his teammates for open looks. For all of the criticism on Walker, he is averaging 5.1 assists and is hitting 40.6% of his threes.
