Tennessee freshman forward Jarnell Stokes had 16 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Vols past Connecticut. He went 6-for-10 from the field and added two blocks.
The 6-foot-8 Stokes has been a revelation since joining the Volunteers three games ago. He has size 20 feet and looks like a great find for coach Cuonzo Martin. He provides Tennessee with another interior option along with Jeronne Maymon.
