Syracuse center Fabricio Melo will sit out Saturday's game against Notre Dame for undisclosed reasons. Also, Mookie Jones has left school.
Melo will also sit out on Monday against Cincinnati. The problem reportedly is an unresolved academic issue from the first semester. Perhaps a teacher forgot to submit a grade for Melo... Hopefully, the Brazilian sophomore will be back soon. For now, Rakeem Christmas and C.J. Fair could see a few extra minutes.
