North Carolina guard Dexter Strickland suffered what appeared to be a serious knee injury Thursday at Virginia Tech.

Strickland's right knee buckled on a fast break in the 2nd half, and the junior collapsed to the floor, screaming in agony. He's due to be evaluated Friday in Chapel Hill, and it's reasonably positive that he remained on the sideline for the duration of the game. He's more of a defensive stopper for the 'Heels than a useful fantasy option, but his absence would likely mean increased playing time for Reggie Bullock and P.J. Hairston, who can be options.
