Kentucky freshman forward Anthony Davis had a career-high 27 points and 14 rebounds as the Wildcats beat Arkansas handily. He went 10-for-12 from the field and added seven blocks.
Davis was already a dominant defensive presence, but his offense is maturing quickly. He has scored 17.8 points in conference play and has made 68.3% of his shots from the field and 88.2% of his free throws. Davis is starting to look like a national Player of the Year candidate.
