Kansas forward Thomas Robinson had 27 points and 14 rebounds as the Jayhawks handed Baylor their first loss. The 6-foot-9junior was 11-for-18 from the field and 5-for-6 from the line.
Robinson was clearly the best forward on the court. He hit a few mid-range jumpers and was basically a terror around the basket. Rather than sending multiple defenders at Robinson, Baylor went with a halfcourt trap in which they tried to prevent the ball from getting in the post. It did not work. Robinson now has three straight double-doubles and 13 on the season.
