Michigan State forward Draymond Green scored 14 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in an 81-74 loss at Northwestern. Green also added four assists while shooting 5-for-8 from the field in 39 minutes of action.
This was the first loss for the Spartans since November 15th against Duke. Green played well offensively, but gave up 22 points to John Shurna on the defensive end. Nonetheless, Green continues to post double-doubles and is the best passing forward in the Big Ten.
