North Carolina guard Leslie McDonald (ACL) will sit the remainder of the year out and redshirt,, the school has confirmed.
McDonald has been practicing, and appeared capable of returning to action by the end of the month, but both parties agreed that saving a year of eligibility was the right decision. Reggie Bullock and P.J. Hairston have nothing to worry about in regards to minutes heading down the stretch.
