Ohio State forward Deshaun Thomas scored 23 points in a 79-74 loss at Illinois. Thomas shot an efficient 8-for-12 from the floor and converted on six of seven free throw attempts. He also pulled in six rebounds.
Thomas is a natural scorer who has scored in double figures in all but two games this season. He also averages over four rebounds per contest, but records less than one assist on average. Thomas, Jared Sullinger, and William Buford give OSU a true three-headed scoring monster.
