Mississippi State freshman guard Deville Smith scored a career-high 25 points in 18 minutes off the Bulldog bench in the loss to Arkansas. He hit all three of his three-point attempts and went 10-for-11 from the line.
Smith had only scored in double digits once this season (15 points in a win over Tennessee-Martin). He was feeling it in the loss to the Razorbacks and may get more playing time going forward.
