South Carolina forward Malik Cooke had 24 points in a win over South Carolina Upstate. He went 8-for-15 from the field and 8-for-11 from the line. Cooke also collected a season-high ten boards.
Cooke was held to three points in the win over Wofford earlier in the week. He has only hit one of his last seven three-point attempts. Cooke has enough athleticism and skill to dominate small schools, but it will be interesting to see what he can do against SEC competition.
