Virginia sophomore guard K.T. Harrell and redshirt freshman forward James Johnson have left the program and will transfer, according to head coach Tony Bennett.

Color me baffled.  Harrell is probably the highest ranked recruit that Bennett has brought to Charlottesville, and one who stuck by his commitment after Bennett was named head coach.  Johnson, his family, and Bennett, all were on the same page last season regarding the big man's redshirt season. It's a blow to the Cavs depth this year, and to dynasty owners of both, as they were probably going to move into the starting rotation in 2012. Freshman guard Paul Jesperson will now burn his redshirt season, as the Wahoos are down to nine scholarship players.
