Texas Tech freshman forward Jordan Tolbert had 27 points and six rebounds as the Red Raiders defeated Cal State Bakersfield. Tolbert was 10-for-12 from the field and 7-for-9 from the line.
The 6-foot-7 freshman has now scored 21 points or more in his last four games. The Red Raiders simply do not have other offensive options, but Tolbert's scoring streak will likely end when Big 12 play begins in Jan. 4. Texas Tech takes on Southeastern Louisiana on Dec. 30.
