Auburn forward Kenny Gabriel had a season-high 24 points as the Tigers were beaten by UTEP in the consolation game of the Diamondhead Classic. He was 10-for-14 from the field and hit three three-pointers. Gabriel added eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, and two blocks to his excellent game.

The 6-foot-8 senior has had some nice games through the first two months of the season for the Tigers, but nothing like this. He is a plus rebounder (8.1) and a decent scorer (11.9 points) with enough blocked shots (2.5) to be a good fantasy asset.
