Georgia freshman guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored a game-high 17 points as the Bulldogs beat Furman. He was 1-for-5 on threes, but 7-for-12 on two-pointers. The freshman only had one rebound and did not record an assist.
Caldwell-Pope bounced back from his first single-digit game to lead the team. He equaled his season high with 17 shots. The freshman has only hit two of his last ten three-pointers and is hitting just 31% of his threes this season.
