Michigan State guard Keith Appling scored 19 points in a 90-81 win against Lehigh on Tuesday. While Appling shot poorly from the field, he was a perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw stripe. He also had seven rebounds and four assists in the ballgame.
Prior to the contest, Appling had not scored in double figures since Dec. 4. He is averaging 11.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.4 assists on the season. Depending on the depth of your team, Appling is certainly a formidable option.
