Iowa guard Roy Marble scored 18 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and dished out five assists in an 81-72 win over Boise State. Marble was 8-for-10 from the foul line, and also had three steals and three blocks on the defensive end of the court.
Marble has been a nice surprise for the Hawkeyes, who endured early season slumps from Melsahn Basabe and Bryce Cartwright. Basabe looks to have turned it around, while Marble has taken over the starting point guard role from Cartwright.
