Purdue swingman D.J. Byrd scored 11 points in an 81-56 win over IPFW on Tuesday night. Byrd was 3-for-6 from behind the arc while also grabbing two rebounds. Byrd was one of six Purdue players to score either 10 or 11 points.
Purdue has a well-balanced attack offensively, but Byrd has not been apart of it for most of the season. This was only the second game he has scored in double figures, so unless this becomes a pattern then there is no reason to put fantasy stock into him.
