Tennessee forward Jeronne Maymon had ten points and 13 rebounds in the Vols win over UNC-Asheville. It was his first double-double since breaking out against Memphis.
Maymon had been circling around double-doubles in his last two games with 13.5 points and 8.5 rebounds, but he crashed the boards well for 23 minutes against the Bulldogs. The Vols host East Tennessee State, Citadel, and Chattanooga before SEC plays starts.
