Tennessee guard Jordan McRae had a team-high 19 points as the Vols were beaten in Charleston. He hit four three-pointers and added two blocks. Reserve forward Dwight Miller had 13 points in the first half, mostly off of offensive rebounds after missed three-pointers.
The Vols were leading at halftime, but went completely cold in the middle of the second half. Skylar McBee kept jacking and missing threes. This wasn't an upset by any means as the 8-1 Cougars are a good team.
