Oregon State guard Jared Cunningham scored a season-low seven points on 0-for-9 shooting from the floor in the loss to Idaho. Joe Burto had 15 points and eight rebounds.
It had to be an emotional day for Cunningham after his close friend and Beaver football player Fred Thompson died in the school gym 48 hours earlier while playing basketball. The Beavers were sluggish from the start and shot only 3-for-23 from three-point land. Expect a much better performance by Cunningham and the team next time out.
