Minnesota forward Rodney Williams scored 18 points and grabbed six rebounds in a 70-56 win over Appalachian State. Williams shot 8-for-10 from the field, while blocking five shots on the other end of the court.
Williams has stepped up since Trevor Mbakwe's injury, averaging 14.7 points and 7.7 rebounds over the past three games. After some ups and downs during his first two years in Minneapolis, it looks like the high-flying Williams has finally found his comfort zone.
