Iowa guard Roy Marble scored 14 points in an 80-60 loss at Northern Iowa on Tuesday. Marble stepped in for the injured Bryce Cartwright (hamstring) and played 37 minutes at point guard. He shot 7-for-12 in the game, adding four rebounds and four assists as well.
While Marble was the best Hawkeye on the court tonight, don't read into this too much. Before tonight, he was averaging 7.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.9 assists. Not that those are bad numbers, but Marble will not be seeing the floor as much once Cartwright comes back.
