Illinois center Meyers Leonard scored 21 points and had six rebounds in an 82-75 win over Gonzaga. Leonard was limited to 24 minutes because of foul trouble, having to guard Gonzaga's star Robert Sacre. Leonard shot an impressive 9-for-11 in the upset win for the Fighting Illini.

Leonard has gotten off to a great start this year, after an up-and-down freshman season. Leonard is the only real post presence for Illinois, so he should consistently lead the team in rebounds and score in double figures.
