Northeastern junior guard Joel Smith recorded a double-double, scoring 29 points and pulling down ten rebounds, as the Huskies topped Big East foe St. John's. Smith was 7-for-12 from behind the three-point line.

Smith looks to be Northeastern's primary scoring option with the departure of Chaisson Allen and has the Huskies off to a three and one start. He has led coach Bill Coen's team in scoring in three of four games so far.
