Arkansas forward Marshawn Powell did not play against Houston on Friday because of a knee injury. The Razorbacks' leading scorer at 19.5 points suffered a severe knee injury at practice on Thursday.
Powell has had a litany of injuries. He broke his foot prior to his sophomore season and spent the year recovering. Coach Mike Anderson said that the injury was severe, so Powell may be done for the season. Michael Sanchez, a fifth year senior, could be in line for more offensive opportunities.
