Villanova guard Dominic Cheek continued his strong play with 21 points, four rebounds, and three assists in a win over Delaware Friday night.
With the graduation of the two Coreys (Fisher and Stokes), Jay Wright needed Cheek to pick up the slack and he has while his minutes have almost doubled from last season. The sample size of three games is small, but the junior is tied for first in the Big East in points per game (22.0), and his FG percentage numbers have risen significantly across the board from his sophomore season.
