Wisconsin guard Ben Brust scored 17 points on 4-for-8 from deep Wednesday night. The Badgers defeated Colgate 68-41, while Brust also added four rebounds and an assist. Bo Ryan's squad improved to 2-0 on the season and is on the brink of joining the Top 10 in the rankings.
After only averaging 0.7 points last season, Brust has averaged 15.5 points in the first two games of 2011. Although it is tough to see this type of scoring to continue for Brust, he may be the player that Wisconsin desperately needs to step up and take the weight off Jordan Taylor's shoulders.
