Villanova center Mouphtaou Yarou scored 10 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in Villanova's 76-69 overtime win over La Salle Tuesday night. Guard Maalik Wayns added 22 points, 9 rebounds, and four assists. La Salle guard Tyreek Duren posted 24 points, five rebounds, and five assists in a losing effort.
Wayns' numbers looked good, but he struggled shooting from the floor (5-of-16). He and Dominic Cheek (18 points, 8 rebounds) did most of their damage at the free throw line shooting a combined 22-of-24 from the charity stripe.
