Purdue guard Ryne Smith scored 26 points in an unimpressive 67-65 win over High Point on Monday. Smith shot 8-for-15 from behind the arc, going 1-for-1 on two-pointers. Purdue as a team shot 32 three-pointers, making 13 from deep. Smith was 2-for-4 from long range on Friday night in a 96-34 win over Northern Illinois.

As long as Smith shoots well, he is a good fantasy play. He does not contribute much in the rebound and assist categories though. Robbie Hummel should be a fantasy starter all season as Purdue's top overall player, assuming he can stay healthy which at this point is a big assumption.
