Stanford guard Aaron Bright scored a career-high 21 points and dished out four assists in the first round win of the NIT Season Tip-Off over Fresno State. He shot 5-for-7 from the field and 8-for-9 from the line.
The Cardinal needed some points from Bright tonight with Dwight Powell (ankle) out and Josh Owens (11 points in 15 minutes) dealing with foul trouble. They have had five players in double-figures in both games this year so their depth may limit some players from becoming fantasy relevant in most leagues. The Cardinal face Colorado State on Tuesday night with the winner advancing to Madison Square Garden for the semifinals.
