Gonzaga freshman guard Kevin Pangos tied Dan Dickau's school record with nine three-pointers on his way to 33 points in the win over Washington State. He added six assists and two rebounds.

He scored 11 points off the bench in the first game but shined tonight in his first career start. I guess now we know why his teammates call him "The Machine".  If he can provide a consistent outside threat this team could go a long way. Fellow freshman guard Gary Bell added 14 points in 24 minutes. The cupboard looks full in the Zags backcourt for years to come.
