Sophomore point guard Nurideen Lindsey shined in his Division 1 debut for St. John's, leading the Red Storm with 19 points in their 74-59 victory over William & Mary. Lindsey showed a penchant for theft with five steals and also dished out four assists.
Lindsey, a Juco product with sophomore eligibility, was the lynchpin of St. John's comeback from a 7-point halftime deficit and appears to be a key component of the up-tempo system that coach Steve Lavin is instituting with a young Red Storm team.
