Former LSU forward Garrett Green is transferring to San Diego State. The 6-foot-10 senior will not have to sit out for a year because he has already graduated. He averaged 6.1 points and 5.3 rebounds for the Tigers as a junior.
Green said that his decision came down to academics and San Diego State was a better fit than Indiana, Wichita State, and Long Beach State. The Aztecs also have plenty of available minutes in the frontcourt, so Green could be a nice Mountain West sleeper.
