It wasn't the prettiest game by any stretch of the imagination but as the late Jim Valvano famously said, the goal is to "survive and advance". That's exactly what Connecticut did on Saturday night, beating Kentucky 56-55 in the second national semifinal. Kemba Walker led the way with 18 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Jeremy Lamb added 12 points and nine rebounds for the Huskies, who take on Butler in the title game on Monday night.

Kentucky did a good job of not allowing Walker to go off as he's capable of doing, and as a result they remained in the game for much of the contest. With Butler being a very good defensive team expect Walker to have to work very hard to get quality shots.
