Kentucky guard DeAndre Liggins had 12 points, including a big three-pointer in the last minute, to help the Wildcats beat North Carolina. Liggins added four assists and three steals.
Liggins started just his second game since Feb. 15, but has been playing starters' minutes. He is an excellent perimeter defender who uses his 6-foot-6 frame well. Against Connecticut, he may see some time guarding Kemba Walker.
