Butler guard Shelvin Mack had 27 points, including five in overtime, to lead the Bulldogs past Florida. Mack was 8-for-20 from the field and hit four three-pointers.
This was the third time in 11 years that Florida and Butler had met in the NCAA tournament. In 2000 and 2007, the Gators were victorious, but it wasn't to be three-for-three in 2011. Mack will play in his second consecutive Final Four against either Kansas or VCU next weekend.
