West Virginia senior guard Joe Mazzulla scored a team-high 20 points in the Mountaineers' 71-63 loss to Kentucky on Saturday. Darryl Bryant added 15 points and Casey Mitchell 11 in WVU's final game of the season.
Mazzulla was slowed down in the second half when John Calipari gave DeAndre Liggins the job of guarding the fifth year senior. Bryant and Kevin Jones are two of the players who will be expected to lead next season.
