San Diego State forward Malcolm Thomas had 13 points, nine rebounds, and four blocks to help the Aztecs outlast Temple in double overtime. He blocked a Lavoy Allen shot in the second overtime to help the Aztecs maintain their lead.
Thomas has become one of the better interior defenders in college basketball and has led the excellent Aztec frontcourt. He will be tested by Connecticut's bigs next week.
