Texas freshman forward Tristan Thompson had 17 points, ten rebounds, and seven blocks to lead the Longhorns past Oakland.
Thompson used his significant weight advantage against Keith Benson to help neutralize the Golden Grizzlies' best player. The Longhorns did not close out the game well, but they were able to hold on. Arizona awaits in an interesting match up in which Thompson may be the key.
